Modi Named Incoming Editor for Journal of Pediatric Psychology

Avani Modi, PhD, Division of Behavioral Medicine & Clinical Psychology at Cincinnati Children’s, has been named Editor of the Journal of Pediatric Psychology.
Modi is Director of the Center for Adherence and Self-Management at Cincinnati Children’s and serves as Associate Director of Research for the division.
Among several honors for her research work, Modi was
- Named a Fellow of the American Psychological Association, Division 54 (Pediatric Psychology) in 2016
- Named a Fellow of the American Epilepsy Society in 2017
- Selected to receive a Charlotte Schmidlapp Women’s Scholar Award from Cincinnati Children’s in 2012
Modi has been serving as a Associate Editor at JPP. Her tenure as Editor begins Jan. 1, 2022.
