Cheng Named President-Elect of AMSPDC

The Association of Medical School Pediatric Department Chairs (AMSPDC) has named Tina Cheng, MD, MPH, as its president-elect for 2025-2027.

Cheng is the B.K. Rachford Professor and Chair of Pediatrics for the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, director of the Cincinnati Children’s Research Foundation, and chief medical officer at Cincinnati Children’s.

The association, officially incorporated in 1967, includes the chair or acting chair or academic administrative head of the department of pediatrics of each accredited medical school in the United States and Canada. The group announced its officers during its annual meeting recently held in San Diego.
