Cincinnati Children’s is participating in ongoing clinical trials of an mRNA-based vaccine under development by Pfizer and BioNTech.
Robert Frenck, MD, Director, Vaccine Research Center, is leading the local effort and is one of the key co-authors of this study that reports early-stage clinical trial results for the first of two versions of the vaccine, The manufacturer has decided to move forward with the second version.
